1900

I drove to the Disneyland resort listening to AC DC Back in Black CD. Some music to get me fired up to turn 27 laps and reach 1900 for the year. I was lucky and came into the park with the Extra Magic Morning guests at 7am. Turned 4 laps before regular crowd came in at 8am.

From 8am until 12 noon, I was able to ride 18 more times, with a little help from Katie. Then the ride was cycled without riders because the audio animatronics were not working. Still need 3 laps to reach 1900. 

Then at 1:20pm I turned lap 1900. Only 100 more to 2000. I plan to reach the 2000 mark on Monday November 17th.

On Monday October 20th, I was able to turn 25 laps at Radiator Springs Racers. From 7:15 am to 12:30pm. 

I went home and changed into a suit and tie for the Disneyland Halloween Party. I dressed as Walt Disney. I got the idea from Katharine Forman from Racers.

I was waiting for my friends, Ken and Sandra White to meet me at The Pizza Port. Minnie Mouse was taking pictures. I went to get a photo and she recognized me as Walt and gave me a big hug.

The rest of the evening, a lot of cast members saw I was dressed as Walt. Some of the comments included, " Look busy, the boss is here." "The best costume here". A lot of of people called me Walt all night long. I really had a lot of fun. Even a Stormtropper gave me a thumbs up. And I got over 10 pounds of candy.

Got on the 2nd car out of the station at 8:10am. Amos was grouping and Ivan at Belts.

I'm going to keep track of Grouper and Belts today. I also need 27 laps to reach 1800 for year.

The Grouper assigns the passenger to the cars and rows for that car. They also may need to check heights on kids that may not be tall enough to ride.(40 inches)

Belts makes sure all seat belts are secured on the guests. These are 2 of the busiest jobs at Racers.

On lap 2, Amos was Grouper and Ruth at Belts.

Lap 3, Bob was Grouper. After assigned a row, the ride broke down. When it started back up, 10 minutes later, Ruth was at Belts.

Lap 4, Shannon was Grouper, and Ruth still at Belts.

Lap 5. Phil was Grouping and Doug at Belts.

Lap 6. Jaynee was grouping and Catalina at Belts.

Lap 7. Jaynee was grouping and Don at Belts.

Lap 8. Annette grouping and Don at Belts.

Lap 9. Shou grouping and April belts.

Lap 10. Shou grouping and Shannon belts.

Here are my updated statistics for 1700 laps on Radiator Springs Racers.

Overall record is 862 wins and 838 losses.

On Luigi's side for race the record is 416 wins and 418 losses

On Ramone's side the record is 446 wins and 420 losses.

Now by color of car:

Silver: 144 wins 133 losses

Yellow: 127 wins 109 losses

Teal: 119 wins 143 losses

Red: 112 wins 120 losses

Cranberry: 111 wins 94 losses

Blue: 90 wins  90

Green: 84 wins 92 losses

Purple: 73 wins 58 losses

So Ramone seems to be the better side for the race and the colors Silver, Yellow, Purple, and Cranberry are the better colors to ride.

Of course everything is random and you can not predict if you will win or lose the race.

1700 laps

Today I got on Radiator Springs Racers 30 times. That brought my total this year to 1700 laps. This month was my best month ever at Racers. August I turned 251 laps.This month I was lucky enough to get 377 laps. I always appreciate the help the Pit Crew gives me. They are my biggest fans and I'm their biggest fan.

A Little Crowded but Fun

Today was a bit crowded. Those days when the lines are a tad slow are also fun. There is more time to chit chat with the Pit Crew. This ride and all rides Disney have taught me patience. It sure helps when you see smiling faces and get to visit with the Crew. The waits do not seem as long. It also doesn't matter if they are sick or tired. They  always have kind words. Like: "I'm glad when you're here". Or talking about the latest movies they've seen. The Pit Crew are truly the best motivators in this quest towards 2000 laps. Thanks Pit Crew:-) Was able to turn 20 laps today. Now at 1670 for year.

Tough Day

I'm  The day started out good. Met a nice family from Idaho before the  Park opened. Got to the ride just after 10am and got on guick. Then it slowed way down. Only 3 laps as of 11:30am. Single rider line was crowded.

I need 31 laps to reach 1600 for the year. It cleared up a bit and was able to get in 9 more laps before 2pm. 

Then it got slow again. Sometimes you just can't figure on the crowds going to the attraction:( Was able to go 3 more laps before 3pm. Now at 15 for the day.

I got some added assistant from Katie Williams,  Adam Magana and Katharine Forman for 5 laps. Thanks a lot. Now at 4:30 pm I have 22 laps for the day. I need 8 more to reach 1600.

From 4:30pm til 6:15pm, I got 4 more laps. I know need 4 more to reach 1600 and the park closes at 8:00pm.

It's now 6:54pm and single rider line is to the 2nd bridge. I need 3 more laps. Does not look good. 

Got off ride at 8:05pm on my 1599 lap for year. Not in the cards for me today.will try again tomorrow.
