Stats at 2330 and Mystery Car

Here are the statistics for my Racers laps as of 2330.

Overall record is 1198 wins and 1132 losses.

I've been on Ramone's side for the race 1176 times and record of 623-553.

On Luigi's side of race, I've been on 1154 and a record of 575-579.

Now by color of car:

Silver: 370 times and won-loss record of 187-183.

Teal: 344 times and record of 159-185.

Red: 335 times and record of 171-164.

Yellow: 314 times and record of 171-143.

Cranberry: 267 times and record of 148-119.

Blue: 250 times and record of 121-129.

Green: 243 times and record of 126-117.

Purple: 207 times and record of 113-94.

Winning records in Silver, Red, Yellow, Cranberry, Green, and Purple. Losing records in Teal and Blue. 

I've been to California Adventure 207 times this year. My average laps would break down as 11.25 laps per day. 

I will write a post everyday starting Monday to track the final 3 days of the year. I hope I can reach 2400 laps.

I did come to Racers after work today. I knew ahead of time it was crowded and single rider line was about a 50 minute wait. I turned 2 laps. That is 2 less laps I need to get next week. Now at 2332 for year. 68 to go.

Now for the mystery:

This photo is the backside of the entrance to the attraction. Some of the cast members told me they do not know when this first appeared. Almost like it was put in overnight. It looks pretty cool.

2300 today

Today started out good. Came in with Extra Magic morning people. As I walked to Racers, I dropped off cookies at Mater's and Luigi Tires for the cast members. I got to Racers and dropped off cookies to the ride photo crew and then to The Pit Crew. I also gave them a photo album of all the photos I've taken with them this year. I called it "My year at Racers: Part 1. I'll give them Part 2 after the new year.

I've noticed 1 trend in my racing this year. If there is no one in the single rider line, I will cycle around and get in the exact same car I was just in. This as happened about 20 times this year. And it happened again today. I got in Yellow # 1, 3 times in a row. Hopefully that will be a good omen for today. Another good omen is when I win my first race of the day. Today I won the first 5 races. We will see if this will be my 2300 lap day.

I got on 3 times before 8am.

From 8am to 9am, I turned  3 laps.

From 9am to 10am, 4 laps. Only 14 more to reach 2300.

From 10am to 11am, I turned 2 laps. I took a short break during this hour.

11am to 12pm: 2 laps. 10 to 2300.

12pm to 1pm: 2 laps. 

1pm to 2pm: 2 laps.

2pm to 3pm: 2 laps. Now at 2296. 

3pm to 4pm: the ride broke down for 10 minutes. Started up again. I was loaded in a car and at belts the ride shutdown again. This time for 40 minutes. I always seem to be in the backseat when I'm stuck in a car. There is more legroom in the front row. So only 1 lap.

At 4pm, I finally took a food break. I did get 1 lap.

At 5:15pm, turned lap 2299 and at 5:35pm I turned lap 2300. KA Chow 

Only 100 laps to go. It is 6:30pm and I got 1 more lap to reach 2301. I'll stay until 10pm.

7 days to go and Stats at 2231

7 more days at Racers to reach 2400 laps this year. I'm 169 away. I need to average just over 24 laps a day. This last week was pretty good. Twenty Six laps on Monday, 28 on Tuesday, 30 on Wednesday and 22 on Thursday. That was an average of 26. 

I've been to Disney California Adventure 203 times this year and my average number of times on Racers is just under 11.

Overall record is 1148 wins and 1083 losses.

Ramone's side of race: 1134 times and record of 599-535

The only cars I have a losing record are Teal and Blue.

2200 and Purple 1

I came into this week hoping to reach 2200 laps by the end of Thursday. It looks like I will reach that number today.

I was able to ride 26 times on Monday and even with a 90 minute shutdown on Tuesday, I turned 28 laps. I need 21 laps today to reach 2200. 

On another note, a few weeks back, as I was getting out the Purple 1 car, cast member Monique Sevilla said "that's your car." The initials on Purple 1 are J H. The birthday is off though. Since  lap 1454, I started keeping track of the number of the colored car I ride in. I went back and my record on Purple 1 is 10 wins and 14 losses.

Pit Crew member Andrew DuMolt showed me the list for the number of cars per color.

They are as follows: Red has 6 cars, Silver and Teal have 5 cars. And Green, Blue, Yellow, Purple and Cranberry have 4 cars each. That's a total of 36 cars.

Now back to what we are here for today. Countdown to 2200 laps.

Was allowed to once again come  in with the Extra Magic Morning guests.

The ride opened at about 7:25am. I turned 3 laps before 8am.

From 8am to 9am, I turned 5 more laps.

From 9am until 10am, I added 4 more laps. 9 laps to 2200.

From 10am to 11am, 4 more laps. Only 5 laps to go. Earlier this year, Pit Crew member Sheri Bordeaux nicknamed the single rider line The Jon Hale Expresseway. It sure has been that way this week.

From 11am to 12pm, I turned 3 laps.

2 to go. At 12:20 got lap 2199 and at 12:40pm, the magic happened again. 2200. It has been a great week at Racers .

2100

I needed 23 laps today to reach 2100 for the year. I debated about bringing my 2100 sign. I'm glad I brought the sign.

Saw some friends from work. Roger and his daughter Samantha. Also Peter and his girlfriend Kim. Glad they could stop by.

Turned my first lap at 8:15 and reached 23 at about 3:20pm. I get both excited and nervous when I reach a milestone. I'm glad the Pit Crew is here to support me and take pictures with me. I truly love this ride and the people that work this ride. Ka Chow!!

The Final Month

We have now reached December. November was a great month. Reaching 2000 laps was the highlight of this year.  Having my friends from work and ABC covering the event was awesome. And of course riding with The Pit Crew fulfilled the day. I only got 126 laps in the month. Not a good 1 month total. 

I'm at 2062 laps for the year. 

We will see how many laps I can reach this month. I'm taking 6 vacation days to help in the numbers. But having to get 338 laps to reach 2400 will not be easy. I hope I don't let anyone down if I fall short of this number. Reaching even 2300 will be tough.

Besides my normal Monday's all day, and Tuesday half day, I will be taking off (from work), the Wednesdays and Thursdays on the week before Christmas, Christmas week and New Year's week. Planning to be there 8am to 10pm Chrustmas Eve and from 8am to 1am New Year's Eve. Going to end the year at Racers.

It would be cool if I could ride, 1 last time with The Pit Crew on the last lap of the year :-)
